CONCRETE cuz my head is full of rocks.
What was the defining moment for you when you knew you wanted to become a fighter?
When I watched WEC and saw fighters competing at 135lbs.
Were your family and friends supportive when you decided to enter the world of MMA ?
Yes my whole family enjoys watching the sport of MMA. My parents are really supportive.

What is your favorite strike or submission ?
Left hook and guillotine choke.
Who is your biggest inspiration ?
Fighting wise I would say Jens Pulver is a big inspiration.

TXS Fight Team.
Do you like to stand with your opponent or take the fight to the ground ?
I like to stand and brawl.
What weight do you fight at ?
Currently 135. Competed at 145 and looking to drop to 125.
what do you think separates you from other fighters In your division ?
My KO power and iron chin.
If you could have one dream fight who would it be against ?
I would like to fight Uriah Faber for the WEC belt.

My first fight versus Ryan O’Hagen.

Kill or be killed.

what holes or weaknesses do you look to exploit in your opponents game plan when you step in the cage ?
Looking to sprawl and brawl.

What has been your biggest accomplishment in the sport so far ?
I have learned about myself but have accomplished nothing yet.

My parents have helped me a lot.
Who do you feel has had the biggest impact on the sport and why ?
It’s hard to say any one person I would say the original stars that carried the sport before it was this widely accepted.

To better myself.

I have a 5 year old son named Russell Leigh.
When you are not in the gym training what do you like to do in your free time ?
I have many hobbies but I read so I’ll say that.
What advice can you give to young fighters and those who want to become fighters ?
Never give up.
What do you think you would be doing if you hadn’t become a fighter ?
Good question I don’t wanna find out.
What gets you mentally prepared for a fight do you have any rituals that get you ready to step in the cage ?
I pray for safety for my opponent and myself then also for an entertaining fight.

The worlds biggest sport unifying nations and teaching kids discipline.
