I am from a small logging town known as Forks,WA

How long have you been training ?
I have been training since my first fight this past July.

How did you get in to MMA ?
I have always been a fan of fighting and knew it was something I always wanted to get into.

Tell us about your nickname how you got it ?
I currently do not have a nickname.

What was the defining moment for you when you knew you wanted to become a fighter?
I’ve always wanted to be a fighter growing up and decided to commit randomly when I was working out in the Riggin.

Were your family and friends supportive when you decided to enter the world of MMA ?
They are very supportive.

What is your current record ?

What is your favorite strike, submission, or combination to use in a fight ?
The Diaz brothers Stockton Slap.

Who is your biggest inspiration ?
My mama and sisters.


What team do you train with ?
I train with Legacy MMA in CDA, Idaho.


Do you like to stand with your opponent or take the fight to the ground ?
It’s fun to stand up and exchange.

What does being a fighter mean to you ?
Someone who continues to push forward.

What weight do you fight at ?
Welterweight but I recently took a couple fights at light heavyweight.

What do you think separates you from other fighters In your division ?
My culture.
I am a Native American fighter.
I have my people behind me.
Fighting gives me a different approach to be a leader and give other natives hope.

If you could have one dream fight who would it be against ?
19 year old Mike Tyson.

Who has been your toughest fight to date ?
Johnny James at the Prime Fighting Show. The guy is a stud.

What is your mindset going in to a fight ?
Get the hands raised.

Who are you fighting next ?
Houston Stowe at Reign FC.


What holes or weaknesses do you see in their game that you can exploit ?
I haven’t had a chance to see any of his fights yet.

What promotion are you fighting for ?
Whoever wants me in their cage.

Date and time of your next fight ?
Saturday March 19th at the Clearwater casino. The show starts at 6.

What do you want to be remembered for at the end of your career ?
Putting on a show.

What is your favorite quote or motto ?

What has been your biggest accomplishment in the sport so far ?
I feel like I have yet to accomplish anything in this sport.

Who has been most influential to you in your career ?
All the love and support from friends and family has influenced me a lot recently. But my grandparents and mother are who raised me and who I want to make proud at the end of the day.

Who do you feel has had the biggest impact on the sport and why ?
Right now, Conor McGregor. Even though he just lost to Diaz. At the end of the day he still has his belt and has the fatter check.

How would you describe your fighting style ?

What drives or motivates you to step in the cage and compete ?
My family.


What is something people might not know about you ?
I’m a mama’s boy.

When you are not in the gym training what do you like to do in your free time?
Getting out there and exploring the PNW.

What advice can you give to young fighters and those who want to become fighters ?
Become a student of the martial arts.

What do you think you would be doing if you hadn’t become a fighter ?
Working out in the Riggin.

What gets you mentally prepared for a fight ?
Taking in the crowds energy during the walk out.

Do you have any rituals that get you ready to go to battle ?
Nope. Just staying relaxed.

Where do you see the sport of MMA in 5-10 years ?
America’s new sport.

Fedor Emelianenko.
