Where are you from ?
I’m a young Moroccan living in Antwerp Belgium.
How long have you been training ?
I started kickboxing 17 years ago.
How did you get in to kickboxing ?
I had to fight on the street for bread to survive (nah just kidding 😊)i had friends who were kickboxing, so one day i joined them and fell in love with the sport.
What was the defining moment for you when you knew you wanted to become a fighter ?
That moment when I became the Belgian champion i noticed that i might have had some talent so i started to pursue my dream to become the best fighter i can be.
Were your family and friends supportive when you decided to enter the world of kickboxing ?
Friends were but my family wasn’t due to the perceived violence and nature of the sport.
What is your current record ?
79-74-4 with 49 ko’s.
What is your favorite strike ?
Jumping knee and liver punch.
Who is your biggest inspiration ?
Floyd Mayweather because of his hard work and determination.
What team do you train with ?
I train with Murat Direcki (striking coach) and kwame duwe (performance coach)
What does being a fighter mean to you ?
Being focused, bold, courageous, determined, passionate, and being a role model for our youth.
What weight do you fight at ?
what do you think separates you from other fighters In your division ?
I wouldn’t know the only thing I can say is that i never back down.
If you could have one dream fight who would it be against ?
A fight against Buakauw
What is your mindset going in to a fight ?
Bring that win back home.
Who are you fighting next ?
what holes or weaknesses do you see in their game that you can exploit ?
Everyone has a game plan we’ll see what will happen in the ring. It’s all about adaptation.

As one of the most spectacular kickboxer’s ever.

What has been your biggest accomplishment in the sport so far ?
Its been an honour to have been chosen for the Enfusion league.
Who has been most influential to you in your career ?
Who do you feel has had the biggest impact on the sport and why ?
Badr Hari, because he has gone through it all wins, defeats, adversity and people are still anixous to watch him.
How would you describe your fighting style ?
What drives or motivates you ?
To inspire the children in my neighbourhood and be a role model.

When you are not in the gym training what do you like to do in your free time ?
Chilling and vacationing
What advice can you give to young fighters and those who want to become fighters ?
Be humble respectful and only fight in the ring.
What do you think you would be doing if you hadn’t become a fighter ?
I would be working with our youth to get them off the streets.
What gets you hyped up for a fight do you have any pre fight rituals that get you ready to go to battle?
No not exactly I just focus myself and train hard and the rest will follow.
Where do you see the sport of kickboxing in 5 years ?
Its getting bigger and bigger maybe at the same level of UFC or so.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years ?
Hopefully healthy, having a great family and working with kids our future.
What do you think can change moving forward to make kickboxing better as a sport ?
Enfusion is doing a great job in helping the fighters train more professionally therefore you get better results greater fights and more social acceptance.
