Coming to us from South Euclid, Ohio, this is Brian “Doogie” Hauser. Brian stands 5’6 and competes at 135lbs. “I have to fight at Bantamweight because everybody is scared to fight me at flyweight”.
Brian trains at Evolve MMA out of Medina, Ohio, and currently holds a 5-0 record in MMA. Brian has an extensive wrestling background, being a state runner up and senior national runner up in high school and a two time NCAA Division II national qualifier and 3 year starter for a four time national championship team in college. ” I started wrestling when I was 13 years old. I wrestled through high school and college. Even though I have a strong wrestling base, I prefer to stand up and knock people out It’s more fun”.
Brian is also ranked #2 at both flyweight and Bantamweight in Ohio by Tapology.com. Brian’s competitive spirit brought him to MMA. “The thing that got me into Mixed Martial Arts is, it is the ultimate form of competition. There’s no other sport like it. Other sports you have to rely on teammates to help you out. In Mixed Martial Arts, if you win or lose, it’s all on you. Nobody is in the cage with you, it’s just you and your opponent, so if you don’t work hard, it all falls down on you”.
Get your tickets now for Brian’s next fight, as he attempts to capture his first title, January 28th, in Mansfield, Ohio. Brian will be facing off with Victor Christian for the RFO – Revelation Fight Organization Bantamweight title.
