Not giving up and to keep moving forward even when the conditions are not favorable.

You are an adaptive athlete can you explain to people what that means ?
I am an athlete who finds creative ways to get things done.

What does being able to compete and live your dream mean to you ?
I lost my wife to brain cancer in 2012 and I lost my leg in 2014, I had no idea what I was going to do with myself or even what I was capable of doing. I was in a pretty bad place, then I reached out to Ryan and he would pick me up and take me to the gym and I would hit the heavy bag while he taught class and I would hit mitts after his class. From that I was able to relearn my balance, stability and most important my confidence. I would love to complete just one more time, just to show that no matter how tough life can be that I am tougher.

I think that it is an awesome organization helping people showcase their talents.
